True Aleppo soap is obtained by hot process saponification of olive oil and bay laurel oil. These oils give it its many virtues. Saponified olive oil is a potent agent which nourishes, protects and softens skin.
Bay laurel oil is known for its disinfectant and regenerative properties. The higher its concentration, the more the soap soothes irritated or problem skin (psoriasis, eczema, acne, dermatosis).
For normal skin, we recommend daily use of an Aleppo soap with a low percentage of bay laurel oil.
This soap is molded from genuine Aleppo Soap and is very practical because of its small size. This soap will become your daily ally for clean, soft skin. Its specific dosage has been assessed for daily use, for normal to combination skin types.

Aleppo soap is recommended for your face, body and hair. Rub soap on wet skin, wash then rinse with fresh water.

The Al Najjar family has been making authentic Aleppo Soap since 1895. This know-how is passed down from generation to generation in the Al Najjar family’s soap factory in the city of Aleppo in the North of Syria.
This forerunner of Marseille soap is made exclusively from virgin olive oil and bay laurel oil.
Each year from late November to late March, production of the world’s first hard soap starts over again following a nun changed process. The soaps then dry for at least nine months. During this period, the soaps oxidize to take on a yellow/beige color, whilst the heart of the soap retains the green color of the oils that make it.
